Why the natural sciences and environmental education?
Studies have shown that there are many different learning styles. Environmental education embraces these learning styles! It's all about getting students outside to learn, explore, move and do. Students will learn about the natural world through hands on science lessons, writing, drawing, and playing games. It's not all about textbooks, quizzes, and standardized tests. The programs offered by TCEEC meet Minnesota state standards without the same old worksheets and videos. It's done through exploration, creativity and play!
