Bird Scavenger Hunt (Kindergarten through 2nd Grade)
Where do birds like to hide? In the trees? On the ground? In the tall grasses? We will find out using our eyes and ears to seek out the birds' hiding places! We will look for different types of birds - woodpeckers, finches, robins, jays, wetland birds - and find out where each of these birds likes to hide.
Come dressed for the weather on this hour long hike around a local park looking for birds. If you have binoculars, bring them along. A few pairs will be available to borrow.
