Aquatic Ecology Fall 2017
Welcome to Aquatic Ecology!!!
During this 10 week course, we will cover many topics related to water, water systems, water ecology, and Minnesota water issues.
We will meet once a week for 2 hours, and during our class time we will have some notes and learning, but also some fun hands on activities to get our bodies moving, brains thinking, and eyes opened to ecology concepts.
Below are links to important class information like homework, projects, syllabus (our weekly topic schedule), and my contact information. Click on the links to get what you need. Paper copies of most of these will be given to you on the first day of class, but those sometimes get lost!
Here is a list of what you will need for class each week (and some special equipment for certain days):
· 3-ring Binder with dividers
· Something to write with – pen or pencil
· Completed assignments
· Your brains!!!
There will be a lecture portion to each class. Guided notes will be given each week, so you will need to follow along and write some. Your 3-ring binder should have a section to keep your notes.
