Habitats Series (Grades 3 through 5)
Minnesota has four biomes within this great state! And within those four biomes are some unique habitats. In this four session series, students will have the opportunity to explore four of Minnesota's habitats. We will get wet in the Mississippi River looking for animals and plants that call this habitat home; meet some of the trees that make up Minnesota's forests; discover the diversity of a field; and learn just why wetlands are so important for so many animals.
Students do not need to attend all four sessions - they can pick their favorite habitats to explore! Come dressed for the weather and for being outside the entire 2 hours of the program.
